In every film competition, there are always films we have to exclude because they don’t match the rules closely enough. Despite the fact that we have been pretty relaxed in enforcing the rules in this, our first-ever year, to encourage as many entries as possible, there were several that were so over-length we couldn’t accept them into the competition.
That doesn’t mean they were bad films – quite the reverse in fact.
This is one of them.
“Boxer” by Andrew Cumming of Kinetic. We were so impressed with this film, we decided to show you it anyway.
