the SHORTLIST!

The committee of Judges have now completed their deliberations, and the results are, in the finest of Film Award traditions, in sealed envelopes in a locked strong box under 24 hour armed guard… well…maybe not quite.

What IS true is that ONLY ONE person knows what those results are (and she ain’t saying…), so when we open those envelopes at the Awards ceremony on October 9th, the results will be as much a surprise to us as to you.

There is, however, one Award that is still up for grabs. The Audience Award.

You’ll find below links to all 11 of the shortlisted films. We’d like you, the cinema-going public, to watch them, and then participate in judging the Award at the Festival on Saturday October 9th

On-line Voting withdrawn

We apologise for the withdrawal of the on-line vote.

Earlier today (6/10/2010), it became apparent that the system had been attacked and the validity of the voting results compromised.  It appears that the attacker exploited a known security weakness in the “PollDaddy” system.

The attacker is an unkown third party. Anyone who has information regarding this attack is urged to contact the organisers at info@glenrothesfilmfestival.co.uk

This incident will be reported to the Police for forensic investigation.

An alternate voting system for the “Audience Award” will be used during the Festival on October 9th.
